LEGENDS OF MOTO GP

               GIACOMO AGOSTINI

Giacomo Agostini is widely regarded as the best rider of all time and his spectacular carrier in the second half of the 1960's and the first part of the 1970's saw him become the first true world star of motorcycle racing.During his 14 yrs in the World championship the sensational ITALIAN won 15 titles (eight in 500cc and seven in 350 cc) earning a remarkable total of 12 Grand Prix victories along the way.
He very rarely crashed and was the dominant force on both 350cc and 500cc machinery for most of his racing life.

Australian Moto GP legend Mich Doohan won five premier class titles in a period of domination that broke records and defined the sports in 1990's. in 1990 he took the first of his 54 premier class victories at Hungary and just two years later was already in contention for the championship.his carrier was defined by his loyalty to Honda, his 12 wins from 15 in 1997 and his duels with Alex Criville and Max Biaggi en route to five consecutive premier class titles.



           WAYNE RAINEY


Wayne Rainey is the last of the great american multi-world champions to have graced MOTO GP. The Californian won three 500CC titles in a row from 1990 to 1992.

In the following seasons up until the phase of 1993, Rainey accrued 24 wins and 65 podiums but not immune to injury as he often tried to make up for the short comings of Yamaha's efforts to complete with the might of Honda's. A fine and well respected ambassador for MOTO GP he continues to race karts to this day and visit the US grand prix.
